Suez Oil Company is one of The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) companies, one of the oldest and largest producers of crude oil and gas and a pillar of the national economy in Egypt since its establishment in 1979.

For more than forty years, the Company -since its inception as a promising joint venture company- has been able to be a civilized beacon and a large production edifice. All the available resources and latest technologies are applied in three offshore fields in the Gulf of Suez Ras Badran, Ras Fanar, and Zeit Bay with its land extension in Ras ElBehar (REB) to increase the production and arrest the decline of the wells in order to help company’s contribution in the progress of the industry in Egypt.

Currently, the company is operating two oil and gas fields in two concessions in the Gulf of Suez namely Ras Budran field (GOS East Concession) and Zeit Bay field (GOS West Concession).

According to the policy of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), based on the principle of joint co-operation between oil companies for the optimal utilization of production facilities, the company through the gas plant in Zeit Bay field work in processing, storing and shipping crude oil from/to sister companies in Zeit Bay Area.
